At only six years of age, a precocious creative journey started with Mickey Mouse who, for The Founder & Fashion Designer, Dana Riad, was more than a cartoon character. Rather, he was a muse that led to Avant-grade designs fit for fashion week! Growing up amongst three brothers and a predominantly patriarchal community never interrupted her. Riad’s innate belief in female potential enabled her to nourish a youthful individuality through captivating illustrations that highlighted meticulousness, taste & originality.

After completing double bachelor’s degrees in Fashion and Interior design as well as receiving the Golden Needle Award in 2011 from the distinguished Arts institute Virginia Commonwealth University, Riad launched her Fashion label in 2020. The Mickey she designs for today has evolved too; a fierce woman passionate about innovation is who this luxury Street-style brand dresses. By further embracing the brand’s juxtaposition of heritage and modernity, she founded a Fashion NFT project called, The Dalka. The Dalka aims to create a true fashion representation in the web3 space. Today, she challenges the upcoming Web3 with the same concept by ensuring that the women and daughters of today are recognized for their tenacity, capacity, and impact. She was ahead of time within her world. For tomorrow’s digital world, she presents TD warriors who carry the same responsibility.
